Day 22
The final day of this short journey is simply a springboard into thousands of journeys yet to come.
The final day of this short journey is simply a springboard into thousands of journeys yet to come.
The hardships, difficulties and losses in life can become catapults launching us into new authority if we don’t provide the ship of bitterness safe harbor in our soul through the process.
One of the stark contrasts between how the devil and God communicate is that “the devil drives” and “the Lord Leads.” The enemy operates like a used car salesmen, pressuring and pushing us to do things. In an opposite Spirit, the Lord leads by invitation and peace. Our answer to pressures of every variety should be an instant “no.” The invitations of God may cost us everything, but they never come with religious pressure and are never pushy. God is looking for adventurous sons and daughters who want to be with Him, not coerced laborers forced to toe the line.
David danced with “all his might” and God loved it. David wasn’t a trained dancer participating in a beautifully choreographed performance, but rather a son who had would rather act a celebratory fool than live without the presence of God.
Our job is not to convict people of sin, but to lavish the kindness of God upon everything that breathes. His kindness delivered through us has a thousand times more power than condescending truth or self-righteous preaching. The kindness of God has the power to penetrate the hardest of hearts, unraveling the most twisted of minds, drawing the distant near.

The normal activities in our daily lives bring us near strategically placed burning bushes. Papa leaves these mysterious clues out in the open to see of His kids want to play, desiring to get your attention so He can reveal your part in delivering nations. Any clue that tugs on our curiosity invites the busy to turn aside and discover with kid-like wonder, purposes and journeys that we didn’t know existed.
Flush all of the images in your mind of how you think things will turn out in life – marriage, ministry, career. Then, with eyes fixed upon Jesus alone, follow Him wherever He goes, partnering with Him in His missions, loving those in your life extravagantly. While enjoying the journey, He will create a masterpiece behind you of His will fulfilled in your life from the palette of your mistakes, service and the love you have given away to the least of these along the way.
The purpose that God has for your life is surrounded by foreboding demons of fear, firing paralyzing thoughts and feeling in your direction. Reaching your divine destination means gathering up courage and facing head-on, every fear that stands in your path. Your boldness to confront these fears will not only find you walking in your calling, but will also expose the facade of terror you passed through as a mask of lies. Matt 15:43, 2 Tim 1:7, Pr 28:1
In heaven there will be hundreds of thousands of days and nights to worship God along with the myriads of angels, saints and kneeling elders, in vibrant color and light. But today, we have the privilege of focusing through the noise and darkness of the world, standing alone against the gravity of need to present a sound of unaccompanied worship that touches the heart of our Father –
